Description: The NLPA's Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) with Latinx Populations SIG is
honored to host Dr. Denise A. Chavira from the Psychology Department at UCLA for a
continuing education (CE) webinar. This webinar is designed to provide an overview of rigorous
research into EBPs for mental health care interventions for Latinx youth and their families in the
context of implementation science. Attendees will learn important implications regarding the role
of EBPs in culturally responsive interventions by integrating engagement strategies, language
considerations, and cultural values in real-world clinical settings.
